Tess, I don't understand the comment that we would perish at 20 deg celcius in the shade? Does it not depend who you are talking about? My dark skinned friends whom I work with in Nature in Africa in much hotter temperatures would find that a doddle. Even I, a light skinned European descendant would manage it I think. Tess, I don't understand the comment that we would perish at 20 deg celcius in the shade? Does it not depend who you are talking about? My dark skinned friends whom I work with in Nature in Africa in much hotter temperatures would find that a doddle. Even I, a light skinned European descendant would manage it I think. The Naro people in the Kalahari, some of the last true San people, do so anyway, wearing just a few skins. But I agree, most of us, including myself, have become soft.
