I have thought about this problem of buying shares in companies that are literally destroying the planet, its people and its future. Big tech companies also fit the bill. Since so many companies are praying at the "woke" alter, I am beginning to dislike them all.

I cancelled my 401k years ago. If you don't know where your money is being invested, it's no doubt being invested in ways that are not benefitting humanity.

Thank You for this post. It is a reminder to all of us to be vigilant and not put the almighty $$ front and center. All the money in the World won't have any value if the evil side gets their way.

Just what companies aren't destroying humanity? In the end I agree with you though.

If you’ve never watched the documentary JFK to 9/11 - Everything is a Rich Man’s Trick, put it in on your must see list. Below is the link on Rumble which you can be sure will not be removed like it has been from YouFool countless times. The first part of this 3.5 hour masterpiece takes a deep dive into the economics of war and poverty. The Nazis we all have been brought up hating were trading partners with many of the big boys in the military and Pharma industries. In fact the bankers like Prescott Bush, a US Senator and father and grandfather of US presidents was a pal of Hitler while his company financed both sides of the war. The Nazis didn’t lose WW2 - they simply went into hiding and came to America where they influenced the CIA. https://rumble.com/v2dt7vk-the-documentary-of-all-documentaries-jfk-to-911-everything-is-a-rich-mans-t.html

I’m glad you took the time to watch it. Please share it around. The narrator and producer, Francis Connolly has become a friend of mine. We met in a most unusual way. On a Facebook Messenger chat room that was started by my friend mainly for a few other acquaintances to look at all of the crazy stuff happening everywhere, somehow Francis found his way into it. He said he was advised that this little chat room called Truth Disclosures was good so he joined. He told me that the coffee table book that’s now available is being sold in order to produce a part two which will look at all the things taking place in the 21st Century. I think it would take a lot more than 3.5 hours to cover but would love to see it. Show it to everyone all over so people will finally understand that we’ve been living in a crime scene our entire lives. And the way we finally set things right is to simply expose the truth. The commie Nazi fascist globalist punks need the vast majority of people to remain ignorant so that they can turn their dirty little tricks against us. But than goodness there are some people like Francis and you and me and so many others who don’t want us to end up in a dystopian dysfunctional nightmare episode of the Twilight Zone. We will prevail if we just never stop spreading the truth!

It is the worship of money rather than the worship of God that is the real problem. In a word, 'idolatry'.

Jesus showed us the Way when He was with us in body. He continues to guide and direct us by His resurrected Spirit within the body, soul and spirit of whoever recognizes their need of transformation of the heart. The parable of the Good Shepherd is the true metaphor for Jesus; the One who is willing to lay down His life to rescue us from the 'wolves' who would corrupt us, steal our innocence and subvert us to doing his evil work. Anything can be corrupted for evil, even small business. It is not the corporation per se or business or even politics that is the origin of the problem but fear and misplaced loyalty to God. Satan tempts us, just as he did Jesus, to leave the Father behind and obey him instead, in order to be 'successful' in this world.

Jesus told him, "Man cannot live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of God".

Jesus is the Word of God who will speak to your heart and guide you through all of the traps set for you by Satan, traps that are meant to destroy you and your happiness. Traps that are meant to rob you of all that the Father has for you both in this life and the next. Please make your focus FOR Jesus, FOR God and ultimately for yourself and for your loved ones and the children of God in general. All the institutions we have, including the institution of the family, can be corrupted and are being corrupted by Satan who wishes to destroy all that is good, all that God has created including human beings, and ultimately God himself if he could.

Jesus is the Way forward.

Here’s something for you to consider about money, the stuff that oftentimes runs our lives. People will lie cheat steal and kill for it. But think about it - we always are trying to acquire more of it and to protect it. In fact the insurance industry is probably altogether worth trillions of dollars. And yet what are these dollars, euros, pounds, rupis etc good for? The only thing I can thing I can think of is to give to someone else in exchange for their goods, services or protection. So that which we value over just about everything else has no value unless you give it away

Jack Benny’s character persona was that of a miser. Having known him as a kid, he was anything but. But in one skit he was famous for, he’s accosted by a robber who threatens him saying YOUR MONEY or YOUR LIFE! Jack is obviously conflicted and makes one of his signature faces and just goes, “Can I think about it?”

Yes indeed Jeff! It is supposed to represent value, as in 'goods' and services. It should never be allowed to be used or abused for evil purposes. At present however it is part of the snake system $. Everything needs to be shaken to the ground and rebuilt. But more than anything, it is the heart that needs to change and realign with the Creator. Once again, Jesus shows us the way forward.

It’s very one-sided thinking. While there are corporations that have shown indifference to suffering ie. Pfizer, there are others that have given us the standard of living that we have come to expect.

There is a righting mechanism with corporations and that is the shareholders.

Communism eliminated private enterprise and what did you get? More tyranny and unproductive economies.

Expand full comment

Private Enterprise doesn't necessarily equate to investment portfolios that don't differentiate between companies that benefit humanity and those toxic conglomerates such as Black Rock, Vanguard and State Street that are basically huge economic vacuums, sucking the life out of the little guys and creating cultural destruction and death where ever they go.

But corporations should NOT control our politicians or our MSM ‼️🥵when we passed laws saying a corporation can contribute to a political campaign and when Big Pharma was allowed to advertise on TV ... WE WERE DOOMED TO BE CONTROLLED BY THEM AND THEY NOW RUN OUR GOVERNMENT AND OUR MEDIA NEWS AGENCIES SO THE ONLY MESSAGE WE GET IS WHAT THEY WANT US TO HEAR 😡🤬😵‍💫🤷🏼‍♀️

The only shareholders of a company should be those who work within.

This way all means of " power grabbing " would be annihilated and the companies would be at a more human scale and they would be more attuned to their regional needs and it would prevent the wealth evasion so common to the big businesses thus increasing regional wealth.

That's an interesting restriction on "the system." 🤔

Expand full comment

The " system " has proven and will keep proving that there is nothing more volatile than billions of dollars.

For many centuries, the wealthy were buing slaves from abroad.

Now, with money transfer made easy, they transfer the " plantation" where human cost is the lowest ( new era slaves ).

This would come to an end if my way of seeing thing was adopted by the majority.

Every enterprise would be a cooperative and everyone, working in it, a co-owner.

Thus everyone would be working, at once, for himself and the others, accomplishing willingly and eagerly what would be in the best interest of oneself and all, could it be on the short or long term.

Thus, the wealth, and the happiness induced by everyone, being conscious and recognized as an important link in the chain of society, doing what is right in nature, amount and quality, would continually be flowing in the direction and at the speed most efficient for the community.

It is aid that economy is the efficient management of scant ressources.

IMO, economy has to be seen as the clothes that a society is supposed to dress itself with accordingly to its fundamental values.

Are you happy and groovy with the economy you live in ?

" Our merchants and masters complain much of the bad effects of high wages in raising the price and lessening the sale of goods. They say nothing concerning the bad effects of high profits. They are silent with regard to the pernicious effects of their own gains. They complain only of those of other people.”

Thank you for commenting on this "elephant in the room". I have sold those stocks which support the "Dark Side" of our world. The first to go was Pfizer. The next to go was Dominion Bank in Canada for their locking the accounts of the bank's customers that protested during the trucker's protests in Quebec, Canada. Blackrock, State Street & Vanguard are some of the huge evil empires that control most of our world's companies and financials. It is impossible to eliminate these organizations from my investments but I always try. You are an important part of my daily read. Thank you for the extreme time and energy you use to keep us informed.

Thank you for your advice today, Once I became aware, I left Chase for my Community Trust credit union, and have never invested in big pharma, was glad to see when Pfizer lost alot of $ in the stock market! I am careful, but do believe in Elon Musk, and do own Tesla, as well as some crypto, some PSQ Holdings, which involves Tucker Carlson but has tanked....still hold tho!

Norway has a trillion dollar nest egg. Have they invested it ethically?

In 2018

"Norway’s oil fund is invested in 9,146 companies around the world, but its biggest boost last year came from Apple. It has a 0.9% stake in the US tech company, which has a market value of more than $8 billion. Last year, Apple’s share price rose 46%.

The next largest contributions to the fund’s return came from Tencent, a Chinese tech company, and Microsoft. The worst-performing investments were GE, Exxon Mobil, and Israeli health care company Teva Pharmaceutical Industries."

In 2022

"The announcement means the fund will remain invested in Big Oil companies such as Shell, BP, Total and ExxonMobil, in which it owns significant stakes."

Also in 2022

"Alongside the breakthrough for fossil fuel divestment, the fund will for the first time have a legal mandate to invest directly in renewable energy projects rather than listed energy companies. The legislation empowers it to invest up to $20bn, beginning with wind and solar projects in developed markets."

"Corporation" is derived from "corpus," a Latin term that means "body," not "dead."

Corpus delicti is body of evidence. Corpus callosum is "hard body."

A "corpus" is a body of work, like the Shakespeare corpus (Hamlet ...)

A corpse is a body, which in forensics is usually applied to a dead one.
