In 2016 a friend of mine told me about a guy in China who left Beijing to travel by train out to one of the provinces. By the time he got there, his social credit score dropped him below “green” and when he scanned his mobile passport app to return on the train, he was not allowed on the train. A suitable remedy was determined to be posting up a positive statement about the government on an approved social app ( WeChat I think ) and his score then adjusted up enough for him to return home. That was 2016. This is where we’re headed unless the bigger train is held at the station...
You would seem to be the perfect person to "serve" on the committee in order to introduce these individuals to your (our) point of view. I doubt these people have ever been exposed to alternate views expressed the way you can present them.
