I agree, John. It's a much more pleasant experience shopping at the local grocer and farm shops. Supermarkets always ply one with junk food and offers so one ends up buying junk and more than one needs, which leads to waste. Farm shops and grocers tend not to use plastic packaging too so, again, less waste.
