We have been gifted an EPIC Warrior Anthem for Better Way Conference 2023

Hear it and be inspired!

Where I work at the World Council for Health there is no scarcity of creativity – to the contrary, creativity is in abundance and flows in to us from all corners of the world. It never ceases to amaze me how much the simple act of standing up for the truth has the power to achieve great things.

This has been wonderfully illustrated this week with the gift of a song for this years’ Better Way Conference. It’s called We Are Warriors.

A rousing call to listen to our hearts and stand up for the truth, it is epic and made for everyone questioning the events of the last three years and seeking soul food, for this is what great music is, to uplift, inspire and unite us in creating a better way.  

USA-based Kurt Shore wrote the anthem especially for the Better Way Conference and gifted it to us this month. Kurt is a songwriter, composer, producer and creative entrepreneur who produces wonderfully uplifting songs with powerful spiritual messages from his studio D4 Creative in Philadelphia. He and his partner Suzanne flew from America last year to attend the first ever Better Way Conference in Bath, UK. They were so deeply moved by the hundreds of people they met, and what they describe as: “the amount of amazing love and intelligence present” they wanted to get more involved.

The collective energy generated by all the Better Way speakers and delegates inspired Kurt and Suzanne. As soon as they returned to America, Suzanne had the idea of taking a theme from my closing speech and setting it to music. Kurt was in agreement and says the lyrics came to him not long after, in a dream. He woke-up, went straight to his studio and the music and words poured out of him. Within 15 minutes it was done!

Creative genius comes from somewhere bigger than all of us, as Kurt illustrates beautifully with his dream story. It is received wisdom that transcends what can be explained by existing science.

The warrior anthem also features the beautiful and powerful voice of the South African musician Zolani Mahola.

I believe this anthem has the power to move millions, join hearts, and inspire truth. Kurt is a brilliant warrior songwriter who has used his talents to give the world something truly special. We are all so blessed to have received this gift.

How are you using your passion and creative talent?

If you are attending this year’s Better Way Conference in person in Bath you will have the opportunity to sing our warrior anthem with hundreds of like-minded people. Who knows, the energy generated by everyone singing along could well inspire someone else (you?) to create something great! Such is the power of the creative.

Kurt’s aim is to get more and more artists around the world contributing their voices and make We Are Warriors a truly global anthem for truth and freedom. Clips from our 2023 event will feature in the music video, so if you are at BWC 2023 you will have the opportunity to be in it too!

He speaks about what the song means to him and how he is looking forward to returning to Bath soon for BWC 2023, where the anthem will be officially launched. A live performance at the Gala dinner is highly likely!
