The Nuremberg Code is not a relic of history
Vera Sharav inspired me on Saturday… we could all do with hearing her wisdom
I had the tremendous privilege of attending and speaking in Nuremberg on Saturday, on the 75th anniversary of the Nuremberg Code. I have to admit that I flew out feeling exhausted and battle weary, wondering whether what we are doing, all this effort, was really making a difference.
Then I heard Vera Sharav speak. What a revelation. Every word she uttered pierced through the veil and laid bare the truth – and she did it with an authority and spirit that galvanised me and everyone there.
In Germany, it is illegal to make comparisons with the Holocaust, with the understanding that to do so is to belittle this atrocity. Vera did not get the memo – or if she did, she ignored it. As a Holocaust survivor, she has every right to: she’s been through this before, she knows how it goes. First, the state of emergency, then the media propaganda, the flouting of existing ethical codes… she’s seen it all, suffered through it all, lost loved ones through it all. And her message to us was, it is happening again, but this time on a global scale.
Her speech was a reminder to me that we must listen to our elders. Vera is 86 years young. She could be sat with her feet up enjoying her golden years. Instead, she is on stage, speaking truth to power, sharing her wisdom – the depth of which can only ever be gained through life experience. It was humbling for me, and I forgot my weariness in her presence, such is her life force. She has my deepest gratitude and respect for everything she is doing, and I want to ensure that as many people as possible hear her message.
You can watch Vera’s speech here.
I am very grateful to have been invited to speak at this important event and congratulate the organisers in Germany for making it such a success. Much gratitude also for the warm, welcoming crowd who stood for hours in all weathers to listen and make their presence felt. I would especially like to highlight the wonderful work of Children’s Health Defence, who livestreamed the event so that everyone around the world could have the opportunity to tune in. If you haven’t come across their TV channel, CHD.TV, do take a look. It is a rich resource for anyone wanting to get a sense of what’s really going on. I am proud to say that fellow WCH Steering Committee member Shabnam Palesa Mohammed is one of their delightful hosts.
If you are interested, you can read the transcript of my speech below. If you’d like to hear it first hand, I spoke at 5:15:40 in the full video of the event, which is available here on CHD.TV.
In the meantime, I do want to share another highlight of the event for me, which was meeting the poet Alexandra Motschmann, who has written a book called The Great Freeset. I just love her reframing of the World Economic Forum’s ‘great reset’! So let’s say a resounding “No” to the World Economic Forum’s “great reset’ – rather, join the GREAT FREE SET – and, in standing up and saying “No, no more, and never again”, set ourselves FREE from the hierarchy exploiting us, the systemic corruption and tyranny FOREVER. As part of the GREAT FREE SET, I am newly excited and inspired at what we are creating together. I trust you are too.
Transcript of my speech at Nuremberg 75
It is a great honour to be invited to speak with you, here, on this most significant day. On behalf of the World Council for Health, I want to acknowledge with deepest respect and gratitude, all those who, 75 years ago, established the ten ethical principles of the Nuremberg Code, which have informed medical and bioethics ever since.
The World Council for Health includes over 160 coalition partners from 45 countries. During the Covid crisis, not a single country has escaped the horror of medical mandates and unethical experimentation.
I live in the UK, where the government employed behavioural psychology to gaslight its people, using fear, shame and guilt to manipulate us. It weaponized love, telling people, including small children, that their hugs, kisses and smiles would kill. Thus terrorized, people lined up to take these new genetic injections, believing that this would allow everything to return to normal, trusting the government and their doctors that these experimental medical interventions were “safe and effective”.
Many of us believed that there were enough checks and balances within our political and regulatory systems to ensure that corruption could only go so far. But Big Pharma’s poorly tested covid injections have been developed with the endorsement and collaboration of the most prestigious UK universities, distinguished academics, the medical council and royal colleges of medicine, obstetricians and gynaecologists, paediatricians and family physicians, the GPs – those who should have sounded the alarm and stood in the way of corporate greed, but did not.
More than 460,000 people in the UK have reported bad reactions to the injections to the UK’s Yellow Card reporting system – but the authorities do not seem to care. They continue relentlessly pushing more and more injections on all, pregnant women and children – parroting “safe and effective”, “safe and effective’.
But this story is not unique to the UK, of course. At World Council for Health we hear similar stories from every nation. Of people threatened with fines, imprisonment or the loss of their livelihood if they do not take the jab. Of people injured by the vaccines and yet dismissed by physicians either still in denial or too scared to admit that vaccine injury is real. Of children bribed into taking the jab with free ice cream… all while the World Health Organization has more than four million reports of adverse reactions to these jabs on their own official database.
Brainwashing through fear and intimidation is a powerful tool. We need wonder no more about how German doctors could have conducted unethical experiments on men, women and children in World War Two. But knowing what we know about the atrocities of the past, how could we have so quickly reached a point where the Nuremberg Code has been broken in so many ways, by so many people?
To understand how this is possible, we need to acknowledge that the Nuremberg Code was not the first attempt to create ethical principles. Research published in 1996 by eminent Professors of Berlin’s Institute of the History of Medicine revealed that awareness of ethical issues related to informed consent in human experimentation existed in the 19th century.
In fact, the basic concept of informed consent was developed long before the second world war and before the Nazi crimes in Germany.
Guidelines issued by the Reich government in 1931 regulating research in human subjects stated that, without exception, non-therapeutic research could be performed only with the subject’s informed consent. These 1931 guidelines were in existence in Nazi Germany when unethical experiments were conducted by doctors in concentration camps.
Clearly, those guidelines were ignored back then, just as the Nuremberg Code is being ignored right now.
What does this tell us?
It tells us that a world that prioritises money, power and influence over the wellbeing of men, women and children, will never learn from history. It tells us that unless we address the root of the problem, we are condemned to repeat this sordid history again, and again.
So what is the root of the problem? It is the systematic corruption of our moral fibre by those who regard men, women and children as nothing more than consumers.
In failing to abide by the Nuremberg Code, our so-called health authorities, including the World Health Organisation, have failed humanity.
With this in mind, I have a message from the World Council for Health to public health regulators and their governments everywhere. Our message is this.
You have failed in your duties and presided over the greatest medical catastrophe in human history. The time of corporate-funded regulators dictating how people should live is over. By your own hands, you have proved yourselves utterly irrelevant. You are liable for much suffering and will be held accountable.
The Nuremberg Code was designed to prevent unethical human experimentation – it has not. Not because it was flawed – it was the right and moral response to a devastating human tragedy – but because corporations and corrupted governments failed to abide by it.
Like a dam without a leak, the Nuremberg Code does not need repair. It is our human spirit that does. By forgetting who we are as human beings, by subscribing to a materialistic view of life devoid of connection and meaning, we as a species have lost our way.
To this end, the World Council for Health urges our brothers and sisters around the world to stop outsourcing decision-making to these authorities that have betrayed us. Instead, let’s take responsibility for our health, trust in the power of our own agency, and start actively creating a better way, for ourselves, our loved ones and our communities.
The World Council for Health is here for you – to support you as you move forward. In taking back control of our own health and wellbeing and sovereignty, connecting with nature and our higher purpose, there will be no need for regulatory bodies and self-appointed authorities, because we will live in a World where everyone acts in honour and does no harm in accordance with nature and natural law. When we have taken back our power and remembered who we are – men and women capable of infinite love, trust, compassion and joy – we will no longer be caged, coerced and controlled – we will be our own regulatory bodies, our own authorities, in harmony with each other and with our beautiful world. We will be truly safe and free.
The World Council for Health supports A Better Way for A Better World, where everyone acts in honour and does no harm, and we do not tolerate the violation of our inalienable rights and freedoms, including our freedom to speak, freedom to travel, freedom to assemble and to bodily autonomy. We do not tolerate profit, power and influence coming before the wellbeing of people and the Earth.
AND we do not tolerate the violation of the Nuremberg Code!
